As
one brought into a coven the "OATH" one takes in its design has been
forever and it has afforded me both good and bad reactions as well as
friends and those whom would choice to be my enemies "because of
knowledge i shared" and they don't have... but that to me is the
marriage part, however everything changes people come and go, and to
work with others for years as well as months is always a reward, but in
today's ideals...the coven "exploitation" of it in the pagan/wiccan
messages has sold out their right in most to "maintain" let alone keep
any "oath" but that is there failing...i find....
witchcraft will never be the same as it was before, helped or not, but to those who take their lessons as valued as the Oath they abide by to learn, the coven structure will always grow even if they aren't directly connected to their original one....
I look on the coven as a storage battery and experiences within it help attach or detach the essence of the wisdom/skill/communication stored within and our only duty to this is to protect that we know this, and to give back when we accept our place in it....

Recently,
people were talking about dead time being 3 am and wondering about this
when midnight is traditionally the time for night time spirit activity.
I'm thinking that as more and more people stay up late (I've noticed
this trend), the time for the deep quiet that falls when there is a
stillness of a community at sleep, occurs later than it used to. In a
world without internet, where nothing was open or on television at
night, people slept and it was quiet. The spirits didn't have as much
competition for the awareness of the living.

(The Inner Witches Nature in Witchcraft)
This Pattern is evident in the light and in the dark and in the eyes of others, it is however is not evident in the spiritual hopefuls of utopia seekers....(meaning witchcraft isn't here to doom or save the world, but to advance like any other form of learning into the higher status/being of our own selves and others like ourselves).
Witchcraft by nature is a system of symbolism that with certain knowledge blended together a doorway to the spirital design of the soul and innerself opens up to explain things more openly, add in the magic(k)al al-lito tones and you get one very perfect system of elemental and physical connection, add in the long winded spiritual frames and you get "self transformation" but you lose abit of its personal realities.....(this is what this birthright is...) a well balanced compliment of all 3 things....
The Rooting nature is select as well as shared, but you must first be willing to takeup the messages, that you will receive by these skills and awareness.....and not just run at the first difficult step... Embracing the idea of one design in many a thing because you can try and fit in to all these other models but in the end , it is with you whether you chosen to be alone or in a group understanding.....
